This little scenario popped into my head when I saw the prompt, so here it is.

Title: Testing, Testing.
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lusiology
Rating: PG-13,
Pairing: D/H
Word Count: 370
Genre: Humour
Disclaimer: No ownership, no money.
Beta: The hawk-eyed [livejournal.com profile] saladbats, smiter of rogue punctuation.
Prompt: I saw the way he/she looked at you.
Summary: It's a testing time for Harry.
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] jamie2109's and [livejournal.com profile] nocturnali's AWDT.

“What are you doing? Get off!”

“Ouch! Will you relax?”

“How can I? Someone will see.”

“No, they won’t.”

“Of course they will, it’s a…”

“Are you deaf now as well as blind? She said she would give us ten minutes to try them both out, to give them a ‘test drive’, and that’s just what I intend to do. It’s an important investment, and we need to now how it performs under pressure, so come here.”

“No! Can’t we just be side by side and see how it feels?”

“…”

“Oh, for heaven’s sake! And you can take the Snow Queen face off.”

“Queen? Who are you calling a queen? I’m not the one creating the drama, am I? Now shhh and come here.”

“All right, if it means that much to you, I’ll do it, but only after I’ve cast a quick Disillusionment charm.

“Well hurry up then. Time is of the essence.”

“This had better be worth my while. Now, where do you want me?”

“Do you really need to ask?”

* * * * *

“Here’s your card, and may I say that I think you’ve made a wise decision sir.”

“Thank you.”

“Draco, come over here a minute and look at these.”

“What am I looking at?”

“Shhh. Listen, I’m sure the assistant saw us, you know… when we were ‘busy’.”

“Don’t be so absurd Harry. Are you suggesting that a Muggle can see through a Disillusionment charm?”

“She’s been watching us closely. I saw the way she was looking at you when you went to pay. I saw the expression on her face when you turned to me, and I’m telling you she saw us.”

“Well if she did, which I sincerely doubt by the way unless you buggered up the charm, I hope she enjoyed the free show. It was probably the hottest thing she’s ever seen.”

“Draco, why are you smiling like that?”

“You’ve gone the most delicious shade of red, Harry. It’s a little late to be embarrassed now. Come on, I’ve arranged the delivery so let’s get you out of here.”

“Yes. Let’s.”

“Give me a kiss.”

“Bugger off you git. Oh, and when the new bed arrives I'm going to ‘test drive' you - thoroughly.”

Much fun. That's a scenario I can see happening.

Well you know Draco, he wouldn't give house room to inferior merchandise, and that bed's going to take some pounding.

It really does pay to test things properly - with clothes on of course.

Good luck with the job hunting. *G* Harry needs to take a crsh course in how to cast a charm whilst one contemplating getting off with a Malfoy.

For some reason I find dialogue easier than all that scene setting. If I'd've been the assistant I'm sure I would've melted in a pool of goo. *smirks*

Good, that's what I intended. *cackles evily* I often try to have a twist at the end so I'm pleased to see it worked. Thanks for reviewing. :) Excuse the self pimpage but if you liked that, then you may like this from earlier:

OMG Haha I can so see Draco doing this. I will not be able to walk through a bedding shop now and not look at every single one of them to see if there's any unexplained movements on them. Hahaha. I really hope the asistant got an eyeful. Weee voyeur!!! Well done. *hugs*

That was great, I left you a review on that story. Needless to say, you're really lucky I didn't die! I almost choked on the Sweet Tart I was eating from laughing so hard when I got to that last part! That was the most incredibly funny story I've read in a long time! You've definitely got a fan now. Would you mind terribly, if I added you to my list of friends?
