Wowwww...that is BEAUtiful! It put me in mind of Draco as an angel...and maybe Harry doesn't know he's even there! But when he wakes up he'll find that feather that slipped from Draco's wing. ;)

Oh, you know, I didn't think of the dead thing in connection with the angel thing...it makes total sense but dang, deadness is a major obstacle in my mind for happy endings. :D Maybe he'll be sort of dead, but still alive (and in the flesh!) as an angel...?

Theban Band - don't know if it's one person or a group.

Draco can have the job of Harry's guardian angel, not yet revealed himself, but he will do when his feelings are too strong. Maybe he gets the chance to come back coz he does something amazing.
