rec, rec, reccity rec.

I've just read one of the best H/D fics I've come across in a long time. If you are still catching up on your fest reading, as I am, make sure you read (and comment on because we all know how comments seem to tail off for fics near the end of a fest) Vale Sanare. It's absolutely fucking fabulous!

I just read that and WOW. There's no words to describe it, whoever wrote it is amazing. Everytime Draco had a seizure, it broke my heart into pieces.

I hate to be a wimp, but does it end well for the boys? I can't deal with angst. I don't mind flangst, but I need at least a hopeful ending.
Thanks for the rec; I always enjoy having help when trying to decide what to read and what not to read given my limited reading time.

Yes, it ends well. If it didn't, I would've put a warning. Go, read, it'll leave you with a warm glow.

Lots of rest and H/D fics in between the madness of this time of year. *grins*

Yes! And when he pushed Harry out I was thinking "Stop being so damn proud." but that's who he is, that's the Draco we love.

Wasn't that just AWESOME?! When I rec'd it in the Prophet, I had to flag it as an editor's choice because ... guh! Phenomenal. I especially loved that they weren't "fixed" by the end, but "coping well" instead. Much more plausible and wonderful, I thought.

Exactly! I do hope it gets some of the recognition other earlier hd_holidays fics got.

Agreed, agreed and agreed. It's truly wonderful. Read it last night, and finished it with tears in my eyes, the good kind!

VS will definitely go with the small group of fics I read again and again like having a comfort blanket, you know?

Thanks for the rec! I've been feeling guilty for not reading many of these due to the usual "where the hell does all my time go" but I've been making sure to read the recommended ones. I'll give this one a go for sure!

I really liked A Matter of Truth. It's short and sweet.

This one needs 2 hours, but you'll be full of the feel good factor at the end, so it's worth it. I'm also having the same problem: I haven't read a single smutmas fic yet!

I'll read it tonight when I should be sleeping. Rest is overrated, lol!

I didn't even GO to smutmas yet. One of the few I didn't sign up for, thank goodness.
