Hmmmmm. To stretch or not to stretch.
Aug. 12th, 2006 02:03 amIn most NC-17 slash fics I have read (that are not non-con) there is usually an element of preparation in the form of stretching the anus by hand or by spell, before the fucking begins.
After having watched 42 hours of QAF (US series 1 and 2) I have yet to see anything resembling that taking place, and I don't mean close shots of Brian with his fingers up Justin's arse. All fucking on the show (so far seen) consists of some fore play - kissing, sucking of nipples or cock, then condom on and straight in. Lube rarely puts in an appearance.
I can't help but wonder how painful it is to be penetrated without prior preparation.

Cartoon Physics has very little relation to Real Physics. I mean, we know that in the real world, if a plane that is plummeting toward the earth runs out of fuel during the process, it won't stop just shy of the ground. However, in Cartoon Physics, that's a very common occurrence. This also applies to TV series and movies. Especially as regards to sex. (that or it proves that even gay men have no idea what foreplay is!)

I think though, the main factor in buttsex 101 (snorts and shakes her head) is trust. You know? You're in the mood for it, and you trust your partner, you know he's not going to hurt you, you're relaxed, and that makes everything so much easier. I will admit, there have been times the Husbandly One has just slid right in without prep, but... we've been together 16 years and I trust him implicitly. There have been times when I've been tense, or not really into it, and he couldn't get in with a crowbar, you know what I mean? He could be slicked up to the point of sliding out of bed and not be able to get in!
I haven't seen that scene yet (I've only seen QaF in bits and pieces, sob!) but I imagine Justin's trust in Brian made it possible (?!). Dunno, 'cause I haven't seen that one yet. Hmmmm, the kids start school next week... maybe now is the time to rent those DVDs and start watching the WHOLE THING AT ONE SITTING!! (Auntie gets excited and falls off chair) Woops!

I think that's an excellent idea. :0)
I'm really lucky that a friend sent me a boxed set with all 5 series. I've managed series 1 and 2 over the last week. Now I'm going to start series 3.

I envy you, having all five seasons. I suppose if I was totally desperate, I could borrow it from my brother-in-law, if he would part with it, but it would depend on which version... knowing Ger, he'd keep his mitts on the BBC version and send me the HBO version (which I wouldn't mind, too terribly). It can be awfully convenient having a gay brother-in-law, sometimes! (laughs merrily)
